CShorte
If you have not done this update, do not do it. LPX 10.10.1 does not work with the update! So many problems, it is hard to describe. LPX display gets stuck, mixer will not show etc. A lot of problems in LPX following this update!
fisherking
don't make absolute statements without facts to back it up. YOU'RE having a problem, so ask for help. i've been running LX 10.1.1 with the yosemite 10.10.4 beta for months, and now, without issue, with the newly-released final 10.10.4. for a start, you could try reinstalling the update, by running the combo updater: https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1820?locale=en_US if that doesn't work, try reinstalling LX itself. or run disk utility, check the OS. one step at a time... CShorte
That is the situation. I will try installing the combo updater, downloading now. Ran disk utility, no permission issues. So what help can you provide?
fisherking
that is the situation for you. and i just provided help, 3 good suggestions. report back after the combo update is run, see how logic does. and (if i'm around), will be glad to help from there (and this is a community of amazing people, many who know much more than i do)... 8)
CShorte
The project in question must have gotten corrupted. New projects from LPX Templates load and work as expected. Other/older LPX projects appear to be working as expected. My apologies for a false alarm but the incident was disconcerting to the max. The project in question had no unrecoverable data and was only a test project that I will delete.

However this project was running fine before updating the OS. It is absolutely human and natural to think that the update is the problem. If you have a backup of the OS and also of the project, revert your system back and see if this project runs fine again. If it does, well, upgrading the OS had something to do with your problems that's for sure.

With further research, I have found that potentially the project is corrupt but it was only my 'test' hardware project and can be easily recreated. Other projects and new projects do not give me the problem. Thank you, CS.
