New feature coming?

So I'm running El Capitan on my second computer and accidentally saw this whilst assigning the track color:

It looks like we have a new feature coming in Logic, the ability to assign the channel strip color like in Pro Tools, yay! I really hope it is one of many new additions to the GUI.... fingers crossed!

Hi,

 

That option has been there for a while and it already does what it says it foes...that is, assign a color from the palette to the bottom part of channel strip, where the name is.

Not at all! If you discover something that is new for you, well, that's exacly it. It's new. One thing that you can be sure of is that Logic will continue to involve in the next years. We are all like kids when a new feature comes out. I like this feeling a lot!

Hahaha I feel a little better now hahaha, also, this forum needs a 'face palm' emoji like the one in the Gearslutz forums for moments like these!
