Oder
Hi Logic People! Need to invest in a new machine as my late 2009 iMac running Logic 9 is killing my creativity & workflow, system overload messages and cpu always maxed out due to heavy plug ins and minimum 50-70 tracks running. So have been searching and can't decide between - Mac Pro (5.1) 6 Core 3.33Ghz - iMac 3.1GHz Quad-core Intel Core i7 Is the new i7 processor faster then then 6-core as its more recent? I'm looking for the best machine to run Mavericks with LPX. Thanks in advance hope someone can give a good advice!
triplets
According to everyman.com http://www.everymac.com/ultimate-mac-comparison-chart/?compare=all-intel-macs the mac pro beats the iMac in all multicore benchmarks, and that applies to Logic. Also, if I'm mot mistaken the new iMacs cannot be downgraded to Mavericks. If somebody has data against my suspicion, please chime in.
