michaelft77
This post is on the subject of mice.......... I have two track balls and one apple magic mouse........... the apple magic mouse is my fav but the cost of replacing batteries is rankling my chain........ Does Apple own Duracell?...... Have bought a couple of Logitech track balls.... Certain things work great but detailed editing can be dubious trying to home in with a track ball...... any thoughts out there? angelonyc
Yeah,, I use rechargeable batteries.. I have a new Logictech trackball. it it gets incredible performance, months, months, months and months, without remembering to shut of trackball when powered down.. Always keep a spare set.. of batteries..too.. Adjust the cursor tracking on trackball. It's easy to over set it for more speed, but too hard to get exact placement.. Mines, set, so I have to do a fair amount of ball moving to get where I want.. but before, cursor was always moving, when I released ball, and the click didn't work.. I wish there was more resolution in that matter, but not a deal breaker.. Really got tired of shuffling mouse around leading carpal syndrom

ankely
I use the Kensington Expert Mouse but mostly use the Logitech M570 Trackball. I would recommend getting ControllerMate as this will allow you to customize the tracking and the buttons: http://www.orderedbytes.com/
stardustmedia
I use a rechargable Logitech mouse. Until I have to recharge it, wireless. When charging, plug it in with a USB cable on the keyboard and keep working. BTW: 100 times more ergonomic and less painful than the sh1tty Apple mouses. They were never any good, really.
