displaying chord symbols from a midi track

I have very little knowledge or experience scoring in logic. That being said, I see that the transport displays chord symbols as a midi track is being recorded. is there a way to get those chord symbols displayed in the scoring window?

Thanks

No not in version 10. (it was available in Logic 9 though )

However chord entry is pretty fast and easy after you enter your first chord - just press the tab key (repeatedly if necessary) to advance to the next note for chord entry - type it in and continue. You an do a whole song fairly quickly this way..

after playing with this a little bit - I suggest you not attempt to use it. There seems to be a link between global chord tracks and transposition and I think this will be more burdensome than it is worth. I would go back to my original suggestion and just do it manually..... In 9 I could not delete the chord track without it deleting the score meta data. So I believe you will get unpredictable results in Logic X given the feature was removed. Highly recommend not using it at all.
