optimusrob
Upon clicking on the Logic icon, Logic opens a blank session and automounts a drive across the network. I've attempted adding the drive as an excluded path in the project manager's scan window - all to no avail. This is getting highly frustrating, because Logic seems to be pulling something from this other drive. There are of course no audio files in the audio window b/c it's a blank session. Has anyone experienced this before? How can I prevent it?
David Nahmani
Choose Logic Pro > Preferences... > Global then click the Project Manager tab. Uncheck "Load Project Manager database on program launch". http://www.logicprohelp.com/files/picture_1_202.png
optimusrob
Hi David - thanks for the quick response - It doesn't seemed to have fixed the problem, though -- that damn drives mounts about 5 sec after launching logic. Could it be some sort of bug? Or have I somehow told Logic to look on that drive? I had copied a midi file from that drive and imported into logic about two weeks ago -- but am trying to open a blank session now. Is it possible Logic just can't forget about it?
