johnballinger
Hi, I recently changed computers. I went from a Macbook Pro with 2 drives (the normal system drive and an SSD drive which replaced my optical drive and contained 3rd party samples) to an Imac with just one drive big enough to contain the contents of both drives on the laptop. The SSD drive in the laptop was called "samples hard disk". When I moved everything over from the laptop to the imac i created a folder on the imac desktop called "samples hard disk" and put my 3rd party samples in there. Problem: when I try to open Logic sessions transferred from the laptop to the imac it does not appear to know where to look for these samples. I often get the "samples missing" box from Kontakt 4 and 5 and then must tell the imac where to look for the samples. Sometimes I need to do this more than once when opening the same logic session on different days. Any ideas on how to resolve this will be much appreciated.
