StudioQ1
Hi, So take a look here: http://i65.tinypic.com/348ira0.png when i click #default tracks region and move it, it also selects the top region (the region it was duplicated from) I can't make any edits with this! Ive got a very cool spacey vibe going on in this project and want to get it going but again, I can't make the edits I want to!
David Nahmani
Weird. How did you duplicate the region? Can you try making a new copy of the new Inst 1 region? Give it another name?
StudioQ1
I actually alt dragged the entire track while i had the regions selected. When i rename one region it renames the one right below it. It does not effect every region, only the mirrored one below it. I have encountered this in multiple projects actually, before 10.2.1. I experienced this in 10.2 as well.
Eric Cardenas
I've experienced the same issues but only with audio regions in prior versions. I can not replicate the selection bug nor does this happen with MIDI regions.
StudioQ1
haha, I personally think this would not be optimal for most productions... The worst part is, when i delete a note or move it on one region, there is no edit made to the other region. So weird... So would the work around be to duplicate the track then to duplicate the regions?
Eric Cardenas
See my edited post. Is this a new project or is it made with an old template?
StudioQ1
Its made with an old template that I've been using since 10.1.. should i delete it and make a new template possibly to see if that fixes things?
Eric Cardenas
It's worth a shot.
StudioQ1
Its fixed!! new template for some reason did the trick! At least I couldn't easily reproduce it. Hope I dont run into it again! Thanks Eric and David!
David Nahmani
You're welcome, let's hope that was the issue!
