Impossible to set the record path from a back up song

I wrote this:

I'v recovered from my DVD back up files a song on which I have to re-record a lead voice (which should substitute the old one).

Now, I downloaded on my HD the song (comprehensive of all files and sequence, ecc.) and, when I go to set the recording path to record the new voice I get a strange behaviour: the "set" button of the last window I encounter is "grey", so I can't push it. What I miss?

If I load my autoload song all is fine (I can set the recording path) but with this song (and other 2 old songs the same issue)

Any idea?

And now I've the the confirm that every song I recover from my DVD back ups I encounter this problem: it's impossible to set the record path.

First of all I would recommend you never manually set the record path, but instead use project folders.

 

Try to save your song as a project, and Logic should update the record path for you.

Yeah. This way it indeed works. I wonder why it doesn't work manually, but...ok anyway.
