LogicIsDoomed
I need to record various audio takes using TAKES FOLDERS. It's important that I be able to hear some lead-in audio playback, BEFORE the actually spot where I need to record. I want to be able to set a cycle region to begin playback about 1 or 2 bars before where I'll begin recording. I also want to be able to set a specific auto punch region for recording but when I do this I get NO TAKES FOLDER and when the cycle loops back the previous take is NOT muted and NO recording take occurs on top. It's NOT possible to use Cycle & Autopunch simultaneously and create TAKES FOLDERS for later comping
Atlas007
Trivial but, have you checked your recording projects settings?
JakobP
It's NOT possible to use Cycle & Autopunch simultaneously and create TAKES FOLDERS for later comping I'm afraid that's correct... http://www.logicprohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=120897&p=619150&hilit=autopunch+cycle#p619150
LogicIsDoomed
Thanks Jakob for the link which answered my question. In my humble opinion I think Apple needs to add the capability of being able to create TAKE FOLDERS while using both Cycle & Autopunch simultaneously during recording.
