Synced take folders for making drum recording easier?

Hey guys,

 

 

 

Question:

I'm recording drums, there are many mics, and I want to take multiple takes and make take folders for each mic. Then I want them synced, so that if I select the part from another recording, all other take folders would select that part as well?

 

 

So far I have found this video, which teaches you how to comp drums in a fairly effective way, but I want to know how to do this without having to create seperate tracks for each take every time I want to record a take. I want to just be able to make take folders. You know, press record and just keep playing:
