Why are my tracks synced?

I searched google for this one with no avail. I have some audio tracks that seemed to be synced. They are visually different tracks, but when I press mute, solo, change volume, etc, other tracks do the same. I can see that in the inspector, under that drop down menu that says "Track: Name here", they are the same, and the both use the same channel, which is audio 27 in this case. I can not change this parameter, and the tracks seemed to be locked with each other.

Any way of changing this without having to make a new track and stuff?

Why did my tracks do this in the first place?

Thanks

Hi,

Click this link to your signature and add your system information:

• Logic version and sub-version (e.g. Logic 10.2.0)

• OS X version and sub-version (e.g. OS X 10.10.5)

• Computer (e.g. MacBook, Mac Pro, iMac)

• Processor (e.g. 2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo)

• Memory (e.g. 8GB)

• Audio interface manufacturer and model (e.g. Presonus AudioBox USB)

• MIDI Controller manufacturer and model (e.g. M-Audio Axiom Pro 49)

(most of that information can be found by choosing Logic Pro X > About Logic Pro X, and  > About This Mac)

Yes, sounds like both tracks are assigned to the same channel strip. You could reassign one of them to a new channel strip: Create a new track, then control-click the track header of one of the tracks sharing a channel strip and choose "Reassign Track" and point it to the new, unused channel strip.

How did you create the track?

J.
