Jerry J
I'm having trouble getting my key commands to be what I am used to in Logic 9. One thing that's really crippling my workflow is, when I want to switch to the scissors tool, it used to be that I hit the escape button and then 5. Now it's hit the escape button and select the scissors with the mouse, or hit the "i" button. I don't like either. The other main thing is, I used to be able to mute a region by selecting it and hitting "m". Now every time I do that a whole track somewhere gets muted. If I want to mute a clip I have to use escape, then choose the M with the mouse, which is so cumbersome. Any ideas? Thanks, J
Eric Cardenas
The first behaviour is hard coded into Logic Pro X 10.2.1 so you will have to tell that old dog of yours to re-learn. The second one is just a changed default. Muting regions and events are now Control-M but while M mutes the channel strip. You can however change it to whatever you desire in the Key Command window.
