dean702 Posted July 13, 2007 Share Posted July 13, 2007 Are there any software or DVD packages that walk you through mixing with real examples whether it is strictly bound to Logic Pro or not? This could even include an actual Logic Project that has been done to mixdown. Thereby, the project could be investigated and analyzed of how eq, compression, channels, busses, etc. were all utilized to get the mix to sit right. I see one called "Production mixing and mastering with Waves" but I've seen mediocre reviews for it with no recommendations for others. Waterboy Posted July 13, 2007 Share Posted July 13, 2007 Mix It Like A Record Although Charles Dye uses Pro Tools, these techniques can be applied to any DAW. I have it, and (IMHO) I think everybody interested in mixing should own a copy of this video. Very helpful to see how others do it. Take care!
