doktahyde
Is there anyone who succesfully uses the MPC in their Logic sessions. If so how do you implement it (as a slave/master), any sync problems, do you use the Logic quantize or MPC swing, and how is it set up in your studio? I have switched to Logic from Pro Tools I use the 1000 with the JJ OS and I am trying to make the switch smoothly as possible and learn new and different uses of the MP in my session. Spunkadellic
no problems - do you want to slave logic or the mp - personally, when my friend comes over with his mp, i dont slave anything, i just use logic to trigger sounds on the mp via midi as i would any midi module - then all my sequencing is done in logic, and the mp just sits there and plays sounds
glowworm
thats what we do at the studio. Works out great. besides that all you have to do is sync up the time code and you should be in business. Would be great if logic could come up with an external instrument track type affair where it monitors the sounds and triggers the midi all in one track.
