shivermetimbers
Is there an explanation why the value at the Input channel strip is different that the value at the Audio channel strip? A bug? op error? Everything is generated inside Logic ( LP 9 ) using the Tone Oscillator plug in. My work around is to simply made a gain adjustment. The Beatsmith
What's the output level of the test osc set to? Check inside the plugin - that has to be it.
shivermetimbers
What's the output level of the test osc set to? Check inside the plugin - that has to be it. As you can see from the picture, the level of all the Oscillators is -9dB. There is a 6dB discrepancy at audio channel 2. If I raise the #2 Osc. up 6dB this happens ... shivermetimbers
That looks very odd Shiver? Can you upload your project? Thanks Eric. It is odd and I found a clue. Unfortunately, it quit doing this. However, more investigation is needed. Apparently audio channel 2 is/was a Bounce in place track. In other words, I bounced a track in place and ended up with a track that contained a signal that had been bounced in place. I deleted the audio portion and re-used the bip track/channel as a mono audio channel 2. We all know that when you bounce in place, the result is a stereo track. I tried to recreate this 'bug' with no success. So for now, I will be under the impression that it had something to do with reusing the bip track. Eric Cardenas
Pretty strange thing. I'm glad it stopped doing it. Let's hope it doesn't return to haunt you.
