SeanCutlery
Hi, for some reason there is a setting engaged that automatically checks the "Loop" checkbox in the Inspector for every midi region that I record or capture. It's easy enough to press "L" and turn the loop off after recording, but I'm just wondering why this behavior has never happened before. This only happens with a software instrument, not with an audio track. Is there a setting to disengage this? Thanks in advance! ZONExLEE
Go to the region inspector and uncheck the "Loop" box before you start recording.
triplets
Check the midi event list on the right of the main window.
JakobP
You probably have the Loop checkbox checked in the region inspector, click an empty space in your tracks area to see the inspector's settings for "Midi Thru".
des99
Any playback settings you make on MIDI thru parameters (quantisation, loop, velocity etc) are automatically enabled on any MIDI regions you record. It's a time saving feature.
SeanCutlery
A-ha! Indeed, one of my tracks had the loop feature checked in Inspector (even though I have no looped regions in my project.) Thanks everyone!
