Isidoro
Hi guys, I'm using a Traktor S8 as an audio interface at the moment. The Mother-32 is connected to MIC input section of the audio interface but can't get any signal to Logic Pro X. Can anyone walk me through the process please. Atlas007
Does this looks familiar? Also, does your S8 appear in you AMS window? If so, does it show in the input device in your audio prefs?
Isidoro
On the audio preferences of the DAW, I have the S8 properly setup on the Input/Output. I guess I'm missing a step.
Atlas007
Does you Moog emit sound on its own? Via a direct connection to speakers/phones? Did you update the S8 firmware? Can you hear sound from your Moog through your S8's phones jack?
Isidoro
Everything is updated. Yes, it emits sound on its own. It only has a jack Output on the back. I've tryed plugging it in to the headphones of the S8, and no sound. The only way i can get sound is connecting the moog directly to my monitors. But I can't record anything like that. i think I'm missing a step on the channel strip on Logic. I've got an audio channel setup with Output 1-2 and Input 1. Atlas007
...I've tryed plugging it in to the headphones of the S8, and no sound. ... If you cannot hear your Moog from your S8, then the problem is most likely originating from within the S8. Probably some configuration. Did you check your S8 user manual? Also, Mic input could be quite sensitive and your Moog output could be too hot. Some devices are equipped with protection devices that simply shut the input when the signal is too hot. OTOH, Mic inputs are often balanced. What kind of cables are you using to connect your Moog to your S8? Here is a link that could give you more insight into the subject. Have you considered plugging your Moog into the Line input of your S8?
