dwbkeys
In Logic Pro X, I want the subdivision in the arrangement view to change (to 1/16, 1 bar, 4 bars, etc). I change the "division" number below the time signature, but the lines stay the same. I change the snap value but the lines stay the same. I change time signature and the lines DO change. But I don't want to change the time signature... In Ableton it's so easy to see a solid grid. Smart snapping is really helpful in logic, but sometimes, having grown up on notation I wanna see things in a more theoretical way. i.e. if I make a clip 3 16th notes long or 1 dotted 8, I can repeat that clip 4 times and land back on the 1. Stuff like that, but it comes down to so many other time-savers. Knowing that if you drag a selection right it will stop briefly at each 8th marker, not that it might be a 16th with Smart. I know you can set Snap to Division, but I would like to actually see those lines as well.
simon.a.billington
Usually its the division under the time code that will do it, strange that it hasn't. Not sure why that is. I would be interested to find out myself
fusbur
Have you tried adjusting the zoom in the piano roll?
Dynamike
My grid won't change with the numbers /128 and /192 (also no result with Horizontal Zoom at 100%) Anyone a solution perhaps

adamwyatt
Hi, I'm not able to change any grid settings, with the grids being stuck on 16th notes. I'm wondering if there is a fix yet for this bug?
David Nahmani
Hi, I'm not able to change any grid settings, with the grids being stuck on 16th notes. I'm wondering if there is a fix yet for this bug? It works as expected here. Did you change your Division setting in the Control bar? adamwyatt
Yes. You'll see in the screenshots that the LCD updates but not the grid lines. Am I missing something here?
