ProgAndy
Hi again. Still the new to Logic guy. I've searched the manual for post fader fx or inserts without success, maybe it's again a terminology thing. How can I insert an FX plugin AFTER the channel fader? Thanks for your help. Eric Cardenas
There are no post fader effects. I Logic you use an aux after the fader.
basils
I think to do this you would set up your FX on an aux channel via send, and then set your aux to post fader (by right clicking on the send and choosing post fader.) I'm relatively new too, so maybe there is another method. oops... Eric is not only quicker on the draw but way more knowledgeable
ProgAndy
ok, thanks.... What about the output channel? Any brickwall limiter makes no sense to me if placed before the fader... Andy
Eric Cardenas
Use a gain plug-in before the Limiter.
