Gun_Nukem
Hi, I posted this in a related topic but haven't received much response. I backed up my old computer and have installed Logic 9 on a new computer (took it from the external drive). Logic now can't find any Apple loops, and none of the pre-made sounds in any of the plugins (exs24, ultabeat, ES2 etc) can be found. I suppose the reason is that loops, plug-in sounds, and other content aren't located where they should be in order for Logic to find them. What do I look for in the external drive and where do I put it in order for Logic to find it? Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
Gun_Nukem
Sorry for this bump, but I really can't fix this issue myself whatever I try.
skijumptoes
I think most of it goes in Library/Application Support/Logic - make sure you keep the structure the same as it is. Apple loops are Library/Audio/Apple Loops (note, that's NOT the user library folder either, it's the system one).
David Nahmani
While originally created for Logic 8, this list may help you locate some of the content used by Logic: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=30524
