mdee
I use DirectLink on my Axiom Controller. And whenever there has been an update to LPX I would lose my settings causing me to resort to a workaround by copying my Axiom Plug-in Bundle I have saved in a offline folder and then pasting them back into my LPX Package contents. I watched the Groove 3 video on 10.2.2 and tried to do the Automatic Control Surface Assignment but it did not work for me. My LPX Preferences already show my Axiom. In order to get the new Automatic feature to work do I have to completely delete the DirectLink assignment first? As if it never existed? Should I Delete this? drakepeterdrake
I found the same problem using my Livid Code to control plugins. When I updated, any plugins that were used before the update no longer responded to the commands and had to be "re-taught." I'm sorry to ask a question instead of answering yours, but how did you save your settings so that you could re-paste them? Where are they in the first place. I'm new to Logic and don't really understand where everything is stored yet. Thanks.
Eric Cardenas
Yes, you can delete it if you want to try out Logic Pro X's new automatic assignment for USB MIDI controllers.

I did the same with an earier version of Garageband. http://www.logicprohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=97190
mdee
Yes, you can delete it if you want to try out Logic Pro X's new automatic assignment for USB MIDI controllers. It's Working! I had to save a preset on my Axiom 61 so it would Power up on Preset 01 and that solved my problem! Thanks Eric.
