Nicholas Reeves
I recently downloaded Logic Pro X. I was recording some acoustic music (voice and piano) but after the fourth take or so the program stopped recording. I checked my mics, interface, and equipment, but nothing was wrong. The problem only grew worse as the session continued, instead recording stopping after take 4, it stopped after take 3, then 2 and so on. I also noticed that there were some takes where a note simply kept repeating. I am running Logic off of my MacBook Pro and recording files on an external hard drive. Does anyone know what is going on? triplets
Is the external drive usb 2.0 and spinning at 5400 rpm? If it is, it's too slow to be recording audio with. Also, 4 gigs of Ram is the bare minimum for Logic X and you also have a Core 2 duo from 2008, which is kinda weak for Logic X. What operating system are you running? El Capitan or Mavericks?
