Logic Pro 9 corrupted project tracks inaccessible

Does anyone know how to access a project - or selected tracks from it - where it/they cannot be imported via the Selected Track method? Having set up a new empty project, then Media/Browser, I can get as far as the project icon but when I click on 'Import' it crashes Logic. Other than the unedited audio files, which are about 10% of the work on this song, I can't get at the track data via Finder either.

 

In terms of direct access via Logic, everything Logic-generic loads up and I can access any of my other projects but when I try to select the project in question, after a couple of seconds, Logic crashes and I get the error message below.

 

The corruption seems to have happened whilst recording multiple takes of a guitar part; Logic crashed and when I reloaded the 'Crashed' version, only a few seconds of one of the takes was shown - the audio file must have been damaged - I deleted it, carried on recording more takes, then saved it under the original project name. From the threads I have since read, that was not very clever.

 

NB I have tried disabling Core Audio, then loading. It doesn't help. Can anyone help?
