Session Backups

Hi -

 

Am I understanding correctly that Logic X saves backups within the session only? Meaning that you can't access them unless the session is open. If so, that's not good. I seem to remember that Logic 9 had a folder dedicated to backups in the project folder (maybe I'm remembering that from Protools). The thing is, if you end up with a corrupted session and can't open it, your screwed. Access to the backup files outside of the session is a must.

 

Do I have this right or wrong?
