Ken Nielsen
I see in David's book that there is supposed to be a 'Marker Track' button and also a + button to Add Marker. All I can find in searches is that this or both of these may have been deprecated in previous versions of Logic Pro X. I see nothing yet in searching errata, or Apple site help. My marker track is open because I can see the markers in the lesson but the controls seem to be missing. My preferences are set to advance, I'm using a 15" screen so I tried moving the screen image to the left and stretching it out, but still no buttons appear. Where and what is the updated procedure for working with markers? http://www.studio10webgraphics.com/InternetPosts/Logic_Pro_Marker_Track_button.jpg
Ken Nielsen
I do see that I can hit 'G' for global tracks and therein is the Marker Track choices and the '+' button to add a Marker... Maybe this is the way it is, and I can live with that. It just helps to know for sure.
David Nahmani
The marker button is no longer available. You can click the Global Tracks button instead (and customize which global tracks are displayed by control-clicking a global track header and choosing configure....). Or you can use the key command "Show Marker Track" (').
