djals Posted July 23, 2007 Share Posted July 23, 2007 Nice synth sounds and a good overall feel to the track. Nice one. There's one thing i really miss though..... and thats bottom end on the kick. It sounds very tight and lacks the drive required for this type of track. Its sounds like it could be pitched down a bit or maybe some layering could help. Experiment with different kicks, compressed and EQ'd at different levels. Need to get those trousers flapping on the dancefloor! djals Posted July 24, 2007 Share Posted July 24, 2007 yeah, that kick, bass relationship is the most important and most difficult thing to get right in dance/house. From what i've read its layering and sidechaining (and of course the endless realm of complexity that is, the EQ) that's the key.....and a s#!+ load of practice!
