Eric Wikman
This is driving me mad. What am I missing? How to solo 1 of many drums.. Bussed into Aux? when I solo a hat, I hear all the drums going into my Aux Group... since I have to use "solo safe"... or else the chain does not get opened for soloing at all. EDIT: OK, I read up on this more. Even my own responses to posts! lol I just hate using the track solo, as it's soooo slllow. It seems very un-logical.... to use a often used term around here. David Nahmani
since I have to use "solo safe"... or else the chain does not get opened for soloing at all. I'm not sure what you mean by that. Logic should solo-safe busses, auxes and sends in a smart way so you don't have to handle it. You should only have to solo one drum and the bus and aux it sends to are automatically solo-safed. If you use pre-fader sends, then unfortunately that means you can also hear all the other instruments... in other situtations (post-fader sends or output routings), there should be no problem?
