Transferring from Logic Express (Mac) to Logic 5.5.1 (PC)?

Hi everyone,

 

I'm a newbie... I just found this site online and thought that there may be people here who could give me advice. I did try to do a search but I had to give up after an hour or so....

 

Here's the question: My band recently had to cut ties with an engineer who was mixing our album. He was mixing on a recent version of Logic Express I believe (it might have been Pro) on a MAC. I was wondering if I could easily import the mixes we've been working on into a Logic 5.5.1 program for PC. I get the impression from what I've read that the tracks would not sync up automatically??

 

I would prefer to keep using my DAW of choice (Cool Edit) if there is no compatability between Logic 5.5.1 and the recent MAC versions.
