Overloading 1 core

I know this an old topic, but I am using Logic Pro X 10.2.4 on a 2015 MacBook Pro 2.8 GHz 16 GB RAM 1 TB SSD running El Capitan 11.10.6. When I open the memory counter, I have 8 cores, but all of the CUP load is being done on 1 core. I have each sampler assigned to a different Bus output to try to spread out the load, but it seems to make no difference, I am still overloading 1 core with the other 7 barely moving . Advice? Thank you.

There's no way around it but there are some trickery you can use.

You can raise the buffer size. That may or may not work for you. The perceived latency issue is a very personal thing.

You can create one dedicated Play instrument and not use the multitimbral functions so that you only have 1 MIDI region controlling one instrument. This will help you reducing the amount of CPU load a full multitimbral instance causes.
