Good evening Logic people.

New member here..

Just looking for a some advice on midi alterations when working with 2 or more midi tracks.

Is there a method to highlight more than one midi region, but only move one regions notes.

For example if you had some chords and bass down, you highlighted both, but you wanted to only move say the bass notes.

Many thanks.

Lee. :)

Yes, just do what you said: select the desired MIDI regions in the Tracks area, and move only the desired notes in the Piano Roll.

If it makes things easier, you can have different colors for the two MIDI regions, (choose View > Show Colors) and in the Piano Roll, choose View > Set Note Color > By Region Color. You can also select one note from one color, then choose Edit > Select > Equal Colored Notes to select all the notes in one of the regions, then drag to move.
