DrumJon
So long story short, I've recently fractured my left thumb, according to the doctor it's basically turned to dust. The use of my left hand while fiddling around with logic is quite important especially for shortcuts like cmd left click for drawing midi etc etc. What I want to know is if it's possible to use a Logitech mouse with buttons on the side as a copy of the cmd, alt & ctrl buttons? skijumptoes
You could try sticky keys within OSX Settings > Accessibility, it's in the keyboard section - This is really great as you get an onscreen prompt, one press on the cmd key for example will hold it for the next key press. Obviously not so good for mouse movement controls, but may help you for undo/redos etc. In terms of your mouse, there's probably a piece of accompanying software for your logitech where you may be able to assign the additional buttons to key presses. DrumJon
Thanks, I always thought sticky keys was there to play pranks on your mates at school. Will give it a go.
fisherking
not my area of expertise, (i use trackpads, haven't used an actual mouse since the 1800's), but check out logitech's own software for this, there may be options you can set there to do what you want...
