uncle808us
Hi: I hope no one minds me asking a Logic 9 question. I have a staff setup for my Ample Bass instrument and the upper staff is only used for key switches (slide slap etc.) I would like to know if there is a way to hide this staff in the score editor. There is no reason to see it at all times and it is using up space that could be used by another instrument. If anyone has an answer I would appreciate it. Thank you. DanRad
You can choose a different staff style (Most likely bass) and in the staff editor, you can limit the range of notes shown.
uncle808us
I'm not sure I understand your answer. I need the staff style I have defined but, I don't need to see both staves at all times. Although I will want to see it when I need to score a keyswitch action.
DanRad
You could divide the region into parts.. some with the key switch.. some without... or put the key switches on their own regions and keep the notes on a separate region. I'm assuming this is so you can create a part that will be printed..Otherwise, I don't see the problem with seeing the key switch notes.
