jonparadise
I'm probably missing something very obvious here, but how do I slice an audio region into equal parts using the scissors tool? I use the Alt/Option key for MIDI regions, but it's not working on audio regions?
Eric Cardenas
Works fine here. Are you still using 10.3?

Eric Cardenas
Good. Just checking so that it wasn't an easy mended bug. Is this happening globally or on a specific project? What happens on a new empty project?
jonparadise
I've just perfomed a couple of tests, resulting in some quite unpredictable behaviour. I created an empty project, dragged in an audio file and tried to slice it equally with the Alt/Option key command. Nothing happened, not even the 'multiple' word appearing. So I added an instrument track, then returned to the audio track and this time it worked propery. To double check, I created another new project and this time the audio slicing worked immediately. So to triple check, I did it all again, this time the audio file would not slice until I had created an instrument track.
Eric Cardenas
Have you tried trashing the preferences?
jonparadise
I've just tested it out on my laptop install (same versions) and it works fine, so it looks like trashing prefs on my main rig might be in order, thanks Eric!
