We believe that an upcoming update to macOS includes a change that fixes the issue with Clarett interfaces and iMac 17,1 machines (5K Retina, 2015 model). This change has been introduced in a beta version of macOS 10.12.4 that’s currently available to developers, though this isn’t yet publicly accessible."
