beatntrack
I have never found a good way to adjust the gain of individual left and right channels in a stereo file. Using the Imaging plugin or pan pot isn't quite the same. Does it involve converting the Interleaved file to Dual Mono or is there a better way? When Bias Peak was around you could select one half of the waveform and make adjustments to only that half.
Darude
Gain plug in dual mono mode, since 10.3. No need to split the file, just insert the plug and tweak L/R separately. A life (well, at least HUGE time) saver.
stardustmedia
Isn't using the pan doing the same? It just drops the volume on one side (if you don't use the stereo balance mode introduced with 10.3.x) If you don't have 10.3, just add the gain plugin and pan with it. Darude
It is, I guess, but having accurate control over it with the dual mono gain plugs is a huge plus in my OCD mind, as then I know exactly how much I'm gaining up or down. With the pan control you're just guessing. (I know, ears, ears... BUT STILL).

stardustmedia
Just another idea: Klanghelm VUMT Also great as a gain and filter plugin. Use it as first plugin in your chain. Can do this and many things more.
