bobbroadley Posted April 6, 2017 Share Posted April 6, 2017 Hopefully a very simple question... I have seen conflicting advice online about how best to create a full mix, when also using stems. I have assumed that the best way to do this is to have instruments/audio and each stem reverb aux bussed into the stem auxes, and then have the output from each of the stems bussed to the full mix aux. But I have seen a suggestion that there should be intermediate auxes feeding both the full mix and stems, so that there is no possible delay through the stem auxes. I don't generally put any plug-ins on my stem auxes, so would there be any delay through them? Would there be any delay if I did use plug-ins on the stem auxes, or would the delay compensation sort this out anyway? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
