MikeShapiro Posted April 12, 2017 Share Posted April 12, 2017 Sometimes when loading channel strips with Kontakt and (say) a piano, the process is fast (3 seconds) and sometimes slow (beachballs, takes 10 seconds or more). It doesn't seem to depend on overall memory load or a particular instrument. I can't figure out what causes the big difference.
