Maddcow
Hi all. I don't normally use the Logic Remote app to control MainStage (I prefer MIDI Designer Pro) but thought I'd check it out today. However, the Logic Remote app doesn't "see" MainStage on my MBP; it sees instances of Logic and Garageband, but not MainStage. Is Logic Remote/MainStage working for others? Cheers Gary
Maddcow
Someone on Apple's MainStage forum has pointed out that the Logic Remote app on an iPad sees MainStage (and Logic and Garageband) but when run on an iPhone, the app only sees Logic and Garageband...not MainStage. How many more bugs are going to become evident in these updates????? This is simply ridiculous.
colinleer
To be fair, in the app store details it says that the iPhone version of logic remote does not work for MainStage
Maddcow
To be fair, in the app store details it says that the iPhone version of logic remote does not work for MainStage It doesn't say that at all. In fact, the app store notes specifies support for MainStage 3.3 BUT I have to admit that the line above that isn't clear. http://i289.photobucket.com/albums/ll233/Madddcow/Logic%20Remote_1.png
colinleer
Yea you're right, it's not very clear exactly what that means I interpreted it as describing the only things that iPhone version can be used for.
