lekker2004
Is there a way of using channel loudness to draw midi data? I am trying to match the dynamics and expression of a midi orchestra to a recording of a solo cello. Whilst I know its possible to just draw the lines in or use the wheels, I'm effectively being lazy and was wondering if there was a way to do this? I've had a look around google and on here but I can't find anything related to it/don't know exactly how to explain it in the search bar. I'm thinking that as the peak volume changes, I will be able to translate that to midi data, assign it to CC1 + CC11 and then edit the midi so that it fits properly, rather than spending the next 4 hours drawing midi lines. All the best, and thanks in advance.
lekker2004
I also realise that audio to midi could work but can't for the life of me figure out if it will convert the dynamics as well?
