Need a start/stop command to embedd in track

Hi everybody,

I'd like to force my BeatStepPro (Arturia) and the Midibox Seq4 to start/stop at certain points in a track.

The start normally an the very beginning but I need them only further.

Does anybody knows which command I have to embedd there?

Do those sequencer have bar numbers? Can you sequence notes only in certain bar numbers but not others?

I am not quite sure if I understand what you mean.

The sequencer can be devided for play mode who many steps the should play - syned to messeare or not.

But is this what you meant?

I just read this sentence four times but I'm still not sure what it means.

 

What I asked was if these machine's onboard sequencers let you sequence data in certain bar numbers, much like Logic does? Or how do they work, are they just for example an 8 bar step sequencer that is always looping?

But the never stop, that means one startet they loop again and again.

I cannot let them run the sequence only once or twice and let them some at a certain point.

I think it is this command I need and have to put it an a message CC Value somewhere in my arrangement.

What I even need too is the STOP command, so the the sequencer stops - as I would push the space bar (in my Logic the command for global stop running)

The sequencers understand the order below - and behave normal as every other machine - and stop when given the STOP command.

But now somewhere else in the arrangement they should listen to this extra given command.

Gonna be this realizable?
