MIDI tracks randomly greyed/muted

Hi all have a bit of an emergency here. trying to record some vocals and my bass track (midi) and keys track (midi) both decided to grey out randomly? Muting/unmuting doesn't change anything, nothing is soloed, and the other tracks play fine. I am at a complete loss.

Your Colossal Synth Bass regions are muted. Click them with the Mute tool (or select them and press Control-M) to unmute them.

 

As for the Luscious pad, it's less obvious... could you zoom on one of those regions and take another screenshot?

David, thanks for the reply. The bass regions are muted but it didn't matter - that's just because I was playing around with the muting to see if it helped - it didn't. I tried unmuting and muting both (a) the tracks themselves and (b) the regions -- neither helped. Would another screenshot help? My only suspicion is something got messed up with those tracks when I was setting up the microphone - but I have no idea what happened and why it would just happen to those tracks. I was in the process of turning off patches/tracks to save comp power for lower latency.

Just tried Control-S twice - it didn't ungrey those two tracks...

Attach the project here, I'll have a look. After you save your project as a project folder, go inside the folder, control-click the Logic project file, choose "Compress" to get a .zip file and attach the .zip file here.

There was definitely something corrupted about those tracks and/or their regions.

 

I first duplicated the track, then copy pasted the MIDI regions onto the new track. Then deleted the problematic tracks.
