Kim Elton
I'm having a latency problem regardless of how the I/O is set. I'm using Babyface Pro. This problem has just recently appeared and the only thing that has changed on my system is an upgrade to the internal HD which is now an SSD drive. Is it possible that the SSD drive is the issue. I'm hoping not and that there is a simple answer to my dilemma. Any help would be greatly appreciated. ~ Kim
triplets
Are you using any latency inducing plugins like Adaptive Limiter, Multipressor, Linear Phase EQ, Pitch-correction anywhere in your session, while recording?
kerochan
Try turning off SOFTWARE MONITORING in Logic, I am not sure if you need to do this with RME stuff, but I have to with my Universal Audio interface. worth a try.
triplets
but I have to with my Universal Audio interface. Interesting. I use the Apollo thru Firewire and don't have to.
Studio162A
I use a Fireface UC and have no problem recording with Software Monitoring on. The main reason I spent the money for an RME interface is because their drivers allow me to record with negligible latency. Jim
schlomojorgensen
Make sure your latency compensation is set to other than "all". I think that´s your problem. When recording you must set it to "audio and software instrument tracks".
