kerochan
Hi, I believe I have found a bug in 10. 3.1, pleas can someone advise? If I create a DRUMMER region, and put to cycle mode, each time (after the first cycle) the very first beat is missing, maybe a bass drum/hi hat or cymbal or whatever. Fine if I turn off cycle mode or only listen to ONE cycle, from then on its missing, I have checked on 2 computers, same problem with Logic 10.3.1 However, I just checked on version 10.2.4, works fine, no problem. Is this a bug I need to report? or am I doing something wrong!?
kerochan
Actually, this also happens in Logic 10.2.4 after you change anything, fills, pattern, in cycle mode the first beat is silent from the second cycle.
Solution Mania Posted July 5, 2017 Solution Share Posted July 5, 2017 Not sure if it's a bug. The first downbeat might be played early, just before the region starts. As real drummers, Logic's drummer is not spot on either. Put the regions after each other and play the whole sequence, it's fine. I agree though that it's not perfect to audition the region this way with other tracks in a loop.
triplets
If the drummer's feel setting is to push, then the first hit is slightly ahead of the first downbeat, so it might not play, like it happens with midi.
