fisherking
for years, i've recorded vocals in pro tools (at another studio); the engineer gives me a drive with wav files, each track from measure 1. i import them into logic, and work. now, i need to know HOW to do that; am going into a PT studio, where i need to export all the audio tracks from an album to individual wav files, from measure one, with no eq or effects. can anyone tell me the procedure? or point me to a resource? amazing that i don't know how to do this (but i don't). Ploki
I usually go from tools to logic with OMF, although ymmv i will check out the command when i get to my tools
fisherking
thanks! i really just need wav files for each track, no eq or effects. am doing all-new mixes of an album (all live tracks, no midi)...
Wolfie2112
Just export your stems from bar 1 in Logic, and bypass all the FX beforehand.

triplets
Make sure to paint the length of the export with the selector tool, just like you would with the marquee. Or you can consolidate each track with the same selector tool into a new file. Then just grab them from the Audio Folder in the Finder. That's usually how I do it if they're not 20 files or more. Ahhh, sorry, I misunderstood your question. Triplets nailed it! Or at least that's how I do it.
