Realist
My son and I have been having an ongoing problem with pitch correction plugins and would appreciate any help we can find. We are running Logic 10.3.1 on a brand new Mac Mini (8GB RAM) loaded with El Capitan (10.11.6). Audio is being written to an external drive (Glyph black box pro 2 TB, 7,200 RPM) using USB 3. The audio interface is a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2. He is recording at 44.1 on the advice of the tech from Apple. We tested it at 96k and it still clicks and pops. We also tried another Scarlett 2i2 and an M-Audio interface as well but they didn't help. The raw audio (vocals) does not have any artifacts. All of the following pitch correction plugins give clicks and pops. Logic Flex Pitch Logic pitch correction Melodyne (free trial version) Waves tune Waves tune real time My son contacted Apple and sent them some audio files. They said it played perfectly on their system and could provide no further help. We have tried different buffer settings and that didn’t make a difference. We would appreciate any help or advice anyone could give us. Thanks
