tamedanimals Posted July 18, 2017 Share Posted July 18, 2017 Is there a way in Logic X to have whichever track element your working on auto-select that track? For example, if I select some element of a drum track and I want to copy and paste that element on that same track is there a way to auto-select THAT track so it does not paste on say the bass track (or whichever track I had previously selected). This is not a huge issue, just a workflow problem. I'm sorry if this is a stupid question but I haven't found an answer. Thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
JamesK Posted July 18, 2017 Share Posted July 18, 2017 I believe there is a key command that when you select your region then press the key command it will select the track that your region is on. For instance say there are BD and a SD tracks. I have the BD track selected. I want to switch to SD track selected and soloed. I'd like to just click on the SOLO button on the target track, and that track should be selected automatically. I don't THINK there is a way, but I think there should be.
