carlcaulkett
Hello, I've just installed upgrades to both Logic Pro (to 10.3.2) and to the macOS (to 10.12.6), and now the sound quality appears to have gone downhill drastically. As far as I can tell, it's the sound produced by Alchemy that is of poor quality; the Apple Loops still sound alright. Has anyone else noticed this and does anyone have a suggested solution? Thanks, Carl Caulkett
carlcaulkett
Thankfully I think I've just sorted the problem. I went to Logic Pro "Preferences" -> "Audio" and changed the I/O Buffer Size down from 128 Samples to 64 Samples and pressed "Apply Changes". I then changed it back to 128 Samples and pressed "Apply Changes" again. Voilà! instant restoration of sound quality! Hurrah!
