elcrepusculo2015
I think in Logic years ago was possible to modify a pre-recorded midi passage using midi input mode in a handy way,so when you played a note in your keyboard the selected pre-recorded note changed its tone and velocity value according with the new input note...But also automatically Logic selected the next pre-recorded note so in this way you could transform a whole passage only playing notes in your keyboard. Is there a way to do that in Logic X? I can only change one note at a time and have to manually select the next note, play again the keyboard and so on. volovicg
I think it worked the same way in Logic 9 - can't recall before that. The mode I believe you are referring to is replace mode which is based on note selection rather than playhead. Option clicking the Midi In icon is one way to enter this mode. I can only confirm the behavior you are seeing
elcrepusculo2015
I guess a workaround could be the key command "select next event" in piano roll window, but this doesn't save me from lift my hands from the keyboard in every note input. I really loved that quick and handy way of midi edition.
