How to export region start and end times?

Hi,

I'm building an app and I have several audio files of someone reading a text. I'd like to allow my users to listen to the file in two ways:

- listen to the whole thing

- listen to an individual sentence

I'm currently dividing the combined audio into regions and then writing down the start and end time markers, but I wanted to know if I could export this information automatically once I create the region. Maybe with markers? but I haven't found a way to export the text info:

- marker1 0:10 - 0:20

- marker2 0:22 - 0:31

- marker3 0:32 - 0:40

etc.

Any ideas?

This may help....

Drag the regions up to the global marker track (marker names will follow region names)

open the marker list ( either with a key command or from the menu)

cmd a to select the marker list, cmd c copy it, cmd v to paste it elsewhere.
